Totally depends on how much you're willing to spend. The smallest engine scooter (49cc) costs a little less than $2,000. And a larger engine (250cc) can cost upwards of $4,000. This is right off the lot, new scooter pricing. My boyfriend was able to find a used early 90's moped on Craigslist for $300. It was promptly stolen from his yard (sensitive subject). Nonetheless...there ya go.
